Gaming Technician page is loaded## Gaming Technicianlocations: Uncasville, CTtime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R-12252**JOIN OUR TEAM AND EXPERIENCE ENDLESS CAREER POSSIBILITIES****IF YOU ARE AN EXISTING TEAM MEMBER,** **PLEASE CLICK THE FOLLOWING LINK TO BE TAKEN TO THE INTERNAL CAREER SITE:****Position Summary:**This position is responsible for the daily repair, maintenance and operation of the slot machines, slot data collection system, progressive control systems, shufflers, chippers, table layouts and Plexi-glass projects.**Primary Duties and Responsibilities****:** includes but not limited to:* Demonstrates and adherence to Slot Operations Customer Service Standards, our Core Values and the Spirit of Aquai* Responsible for the daily repair, maintenance and operation of the slot machines, slot data collection system, progressive control systems and related equipment* Repairs and maintains shufflers, chippers, and any electronic items pertaining to gaming equipment and tables* Performs repairs on Plexi-glass including the fabrication of Plexi-glass related project requests* Performs routine as well as in-depth troubleshooting and maintenance on low voltage electro-mechanical table game equipment* Documents and reports all daily activities and repairs conducted during the shift* Safeguards against theft and ensures the security and integrity of all Tribal assets* Reports any concerns that may affect the operation to management**Secondary Duties and Responsibilities:*** Handles complaints according to established company and department policies and procedures* Maintains a clean and safe environment* Responsible for all department logs and labor recording pertinent to the day-to-day job duties* Assists departmental Directors with special projects, as needed**Minimum Education and Qualifications:*** High School diploma or equivalent* Basic knowledge of electricity and mechanical equipment**Competencies:** Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:* Good written and verbal communication skills* Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills* Thorough understanding of the slot machines, systems and related equipment* Knowledge of the property layout including pits, sections, and zones**Training Requirements:*** Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance* Mandated safety classes* Completion of the Slot Technical training and development program in the repair and maintenance of all electronic slot machines, Redemption kiosks, Racebook and cashiering equipmentCompletion of departmental training and improvement courses**Physical Demands and Work Environment:*** Must be able to work in a casino environment with smoke, loud noises and low lighting* Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time* Must have the dexterity to service slot machines* Must be able to lift 50 lbs.* Must be able to use an “in ear” communication device* Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hoursThis is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, requirements or working conditions associated with this job.
