Job Title: Scientific - Buffer Prep Operator

Location: 4055 41st Ave. S, Building 1, Fargo, North Dakota 58104

Duration: 07+ Month Contract

Pay Rate: $21/hr. on W2

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an entry-level Buffer Prep Operator to support manufacturing operations in Fargo, ND. The successful candidate will assist with preparation of buffers and media, maintain clean and organized GMP work areas, and accurately complete production documentation.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a high school diploma/GED and an interest in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food manufacturing, or other regulated production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare buffers and media according to approved preparation records and established Standard Work.
• Follow manufacturing procedures, safety requirements, and GMP practices.
• Complete batch records, forms, and other documentation accurately and in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Perform daily cleaning of buffer/media preparation rooms, equipment, supplies, and GMP areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment.
• Handle raw materials, supplies, and equipment safely.
• Lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Operate or assist with large barrel dollies as required.
• Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow established procedures and work instructions consistently.
• Maintain reliable attendance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive work approach.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Fargo, ND.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/GMP environment and wearing required PPE.

Preferred Qualifications

• Approximately 1 year of manufacturing or production experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, food manufacturing, chemical manufacturing, or another regulated environment.
• Experience working with GMP documentation or batch records.
• Experience following Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Experience with cleaning/sanitation procedures in a controlled or regulated environment.
• Experience working with PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, lab coats, hairnets, boot covers, or respirators.
