Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is required within the last 18 months.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Arizona license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.

Required Skills/Experience: - Floating experience does not count toward the experience requirement. - Correctional facility experience does not count toward the experience requirement.

Special Requests: - 100-mile radius rule. - Start dates are not flexible. - Travel pairs cannot request the same schedule. - Cannot have an employment gap in the past 4+ months. - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.

Unit Details: - Patient ratios: Days 1:5-6; nights 1:6. - Mostly medical patients, including pneumonia, COPD, radiation patients, AKI, and occasional lap chole and appendectomy cases. - Heparin and Lasix drips are non-titrated. - Uses BiPAP and cares for stable trach patients. - Tele on the unit; travelers do not need to read telemetry, and there is a dedicated monitor tech. - Charge nurse may take an assignment if needed.

Shift & Scheduling: - 36 contract hours per week only; additional shifts may be available. - Maximum 5 days of RTO. - Every other weekend. - Typically 2/3 holidays. - Low census on-call.

Floating Requirements: - May float to Med-Surg, stable low-acuity ICU, RDU, and Foothills Clinic RDU.

5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
