Lead Quality Excellence in a Growing Automotive Manufacturing Environment

Are you a proven automotive quality leader who thrives on driving continuous improvement, developing high-performing teams, and delivering world-class quality results? We are seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead a team of approximately 38 professionals across Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality, Quality Systems, Metrology, Validation, and Floor Quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a cross-functional quality team within a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.
• Drive improvements in scrap reduction, first-pass yield, defect prevention, and overall product quality performance.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, FTA, and Pareto Analysis.
• Partner closely with production and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns and improve manufacturing processes.
• Serve as the primary customer quality representative for audits, complaints, containment activities, and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, customer requirements, and industry quality standards.
• Provide leadership for APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans, and new product launches.
• Oversee Supplier Quality, Metrology, and Validation functions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of automotive quality experience.
• 2+ years of quality management experience.
• Background supporting OEM or Tier 1 automotive manufacturing.
• Proven success improving quality metrics and reducing defects.
• Experience with IATF 16949, APQP, and PPAP.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

Preferred Experience

• Quality Director or multi-site quality leadership experience.
• Supplier Quality or Customer Quality expertise.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, CQE, or related certifications.
• Experience with electrical/electronic products and statistical analysis tools.
