Inventory Cycle CounterUS Farathane is currently seeking an Inventory Cycle Counter, which will be responsible for completing scheduled cycle counts and supporting the Materials Department as needed.US Farathane has been a leading source of plastics manufacturing, supplying the automotive industry for over 40 years. We provide customers with a wide range of full-service support from black box design concepts to highly engineered composites, TPEs and TPOs as well as specialized extrusion and compression technologies.Duties and Responsibilities:Monitor and maintain inventory levels as assigned to meet company objectivesResponsible for scheduled cycle counting of raw material, components, and finished goodsAssist in plant organization to determine and label locations for raw material, components, and packagingAssist as required in plant activities to achieve quality, productivity, and cost reduction goalsSupport plant annual physical inventory activityInvestigate and adjust negative inventories dailyPerform all duties as requested by the Materials ManagerAdhere to all company policies and procedures (i.e., quality policy manual, associate handbook, Level II procedures, etc.)Comply with all internal and OSHA required safety proceduresMaintain high standards of housekeeping in respective areasQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
