Role Responsibilities

• Create Targeted Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs to develop individualized therapy strategies that help them reach their personal goals.
• Implement Effective Therapeutic Strategies: Employ evidence-based techniques to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and abilities for daily living.
• Engage with Diverse Care Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic care.
• Guide Patients and Their Families: Provide education on therapeutic techniques to empower ongoing progress at home and within the community.
• Evaluate and Track Progress: Document outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure continued patient success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Commitment to ongoing education and skill enhancement through workshops and certifications

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license in good standing
• NBCOT certification is a must
