Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) (New Grads are Welcome)
Location: Houston, TX
Job Type: Full-Time | On-Site
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Overview:We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a dynamic team of physical therapists. In this role, you will assist patients with a variety of medical conditions, helping them improve mobility, overcome physical limitations, and regain independence in daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:Implement selected components of care and interventions in a technically competent manner
Assist patients in improving mobility and functional abilities
Identify patient needs and demonstrate compassion, empathy, and respect for individual differences
Recommend modifications or adjustments in treatment to ensure patient progress, safety, and comfort
Monitor patient performance and report progress to the supervising Physical Therapist
Support patients in achieving rehabilitation goals and outcomes
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or related field
Valid PTA license or certification to practice
BLS, CPR Certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations
