Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact this school year with a part-time, contract opportunity supporting students' growth and well-being as a School Psychologist. This position will provide valuable coverage during a maternity leave from August 19th through October 16th. Collaborate closely with educators, students, and families, ensuring continuity of services and supporting a positive learning environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Ohio
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective interventions
- Clear communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive educational experiences
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational assessments and generate detailed reports
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
- Attend and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Provide recommendations for academic and behavioral interventions
- Offer short-term counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation of all activities
