Intensive Care Unit Nurse (ICU RN)

ICU RN PositionICU RNs provide highly specialized care to patients who suffer from a serious injury or illness. ICU RNs need to keep watch over people whose condition may undergo rapid changes as well as care for those who are often too ill to care for themselves in even the most basic capacity. ICU RNs work in the ICU unit of a hospital, sometimes called Critical Care. ICU RNs may be asked to float to PCU.Requirements:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): 4-Year EducationAssociates Degree in Nursing (ADN): 2-Year EducationYou must earn an ADN or BSN degree and pass the NCLEX to apply for a license as a RN.RNs can only work with an active state license.ACLS and CRRT are often requiredFull Time Assignment (Minimum 13 weeks required) Recent Experience and Flexible Schedule Required.
