Rek2 Release Manager

Release Manager to lead the release and change management function for the DA Azure Cloud Development Program. This role will also act as the primary liaison between the DA Azure team and the Microsoft Azure support team. This will include providing direction and managing the accountability for our Premier Support agreement. The preferred candidate will have experience in Cloud Computing, Platform Development and leading activities within an Agile Scrum team. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate to leadership, be proactive and willing to work collaboratively within and across multiple teams.

This position:

  • Develop and maintain the release management plan for a cloud hosting platform environment, with over 50+ discrete service offerings that will mature through a cloud native lifecycle of Private Preview, Public Preview, and General Availability.
  • Provide coordination within the Scaled Agile Framework Agile Release Train (SAFe ART) between agile teams in coordination with the Release Train Engineer.
  • Support communications team through the creation and sustainment of a Release Note management process which will be incorporated into the service maturity process
  • Drive automation backlog within the Azure Common Environment Services ART to support Release Management dependencies and integration within ServiceNow operations platform
  • Act as primary liaison to the Microsoft Premier Support account team. This will include management of actions and communication with the dedicated Technical Account Management team and Dedicated Support Engineers.
  • Integrate release of Microsoft Azure managed services with the DA Azure product backlog.

Qualifications

  • Preferred experience managing release management processes for a platform function with enables many applications.
  • Technical bachelor's degree. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
