Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at an assisted living facility in Chesapeake, Virginia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for our residents. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in resident rooms and common areas. Sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other shared spaces following health and safety guidelines. Change linens and make beds as needed. Dispose of trash and maintain proper waste management procedures. Follow all facility policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state regulations. Requirements Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in an assisted living or healthcare setting in the state of Virginia. Ability to work every other weekend and holidays as required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment. Good communication skills and ability to work well with residents and staff. Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
