Interim Director of Pharmacy - PicJob Opportunity: Interim Director of Pharmacy & Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)Location: Teays Valley, WV areaPay Rate: $65.00 – $75.00 / hour (DOE)Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (plus on-call coverage after shifts and on weekends)Start Date: August 31, 2026 (Interim coverage until a permanent hire is placed)Setting: Behavioral HealthDress Code: Business CasualPosition OverviewRx relief is seeking a dedicated and experienced Interim Director of Pharmacy & Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) for a facility near Teays Valley, WV. This role combines hands-on pharmacy staffing with key administrative leadership. Onsite training will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into the role.Key ResponsibilitiesFulfill all administrative duties and legal responsibilities associated with acting as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC).Manage daily pharmacy operations, clinical oversight, and regulatory compliance within a behavioral health setting.Provide direct staffing coverage and oversight of medication management systems.Handle off-hours on-call responsibilities for weeknights and weekends as required.Requirements & QualificationsLicensure: Active West Virginia Pharmacist License in good standing (Required).Experience: Hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred.Technology: Hands-on experience with Omnicell automated dispensing systems preferred.Strong leadership, communication, and multi-tasking skills.What We OfferCompetitive Compensation: $65.00 – $75.00+ / hour DOE.Immediate Placement: Starting ASAP for 3+ months.Comprehensive Support: Whatever training is needed will be provided for smooth onboarding.Apply today with Rx Relief to lead and make an impact!
