Develop interior design solutions that meet our client's goals Participates in the coordination process with consultants, MEP, etc. Coordinates and oversees the work of interior design project team members Provides mentorship to junior team members Participates in client meetings Creates plans and 3D rendering, assembles presentation drawings, and finish boards Responsible for construction documentation and quality checking their own work and work of team members Participates in submittal process (addenda sketches, drawing revisions) Assists with permitting process Participates in the punch-list walk through

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters of Interior Design from accredited university 8+ years of experience (flexible) Prior experience on K-12 education, workplace, municipal, or libraries projects Both ground up and renovation experience Proficiency in Revit, Enscape, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience and ability to work independently across all project phases (SD, DD, CD, Bidding/Permitting, CA) Experience in FF&E (research, selection, specs, works w/ FF&E dealers) Experience with leading/managing a team & multiple projects (scheduling/hours, workload, deadlines, QA/QC) Knowledge of building codes and standard construction methods Must be willing & able to travel locally (~2x/ month) Must be collaborative, outgoing, and strong communicator Plus: NCIDQ certification preferred Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign preferred (willing to train) Experience in Deltek for project management

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

The pay range for this position is $36.05 - $43.27/hr.
