Coordinator OPS Performance Management

We are seeking a motivated supply chain/operations analyst to join our Operations Performance management team. In this role, you will be responsible for operational performance monitoring and reporting, data analysis and drive process and performance improvement initiatives through automation. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multiple stakeholders within operations to gather business requirements, analyze data and deliver actionable insights to enhance efficiency. Responsibilities Prepare, analyze, and present departmental performance metrics, statistics, and KPIs to various levels of management. Provide analytical support to the leadership team through regular and ad‑hoc reporting, delivering insights to support operational and strategic decision‑making. Design, create, and maintain interactive dashboards to support dynamic operational monitoring and performance management. Work with Department Directors and Managers to identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency while ensuring adherence to company policies and compliance standards. Develop and enhance business processes through automation and drive continuous process improvement. Foster the development of state‑of‑the‑art data analytics solutions for continuous steering and proactive decision‑making. Support the development and implementation of modern data tools and analytics capabilities to enhance operational performance. Monitor and track various cost‑saving initiatives. Participate in domestic and global working groups. Act as point of entry for various internal and external organizations. Be a subject‑matter expert for all Operations systems and analytical tools, and serve as the primary contact person for the Operations department. Ensure consistent application of Hapag‑Lloyd policies to all personnel actions. This position is in the United States and requires eligibility to work in the United States and completion of the employment‑eligibility form required under federal law. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience in the Maritime Industry or the equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Exceptional analytical skills utilizing powerful data analytic tools. Ability to develop Qlik Sense models, Power BI dashboards, Alteryx workflows and PowerPoint charts using Empower. Proficiency in MS Office Suite, advanced Excel, SAP 4/HANA, working knowledge of SQL; ability to learn other software tools appropriate to work demands. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders, ask questions, and relay information with ease. Understanding of most shipping terms; ability to research unfamiliar terms. Knowledge of routing, schedules, and general practices of various countries, carriers, ports, and terminals.
