Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care within the Emergency Department. This position is critical, as you will collaborate with patients and their families, ensuring adherence to professional nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide primary nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department.
Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient outcomes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient care.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Rhode Island.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
NIH Stroke Certification.
Proficient in the English language.

Shift Information

This position requires working 3x12 hour night shifts. Please note, this scheduling is non-negotiable. High chances for contract extensions are available.

Vaccination Requirement

Flu and COVID vaccinations are required. Exemptions may be considered, but approval may take several weeks, which could impact contract duration without adjustment time provided.
