The Senior Guidance & Autonomy Engineer will lead development of guidance, navigation and autonomy software for next generation air systems, working alongside software, systems and flight hardware teams from early architecture through operational deployment. As the Senior Guidance & Autonomy Engineer your responsibilities will include Developing guidance, navigation and autonomy software for air vehicles and effectors Supporting clean sheet airframe development and system integration activities Integrating software onto embedded flight hardware platforms Developing real time software across Linux and microcontroller environments Supporting flight test, validation and operational deployment activities As the Senior Guidance & Autonomy Engineer you will bring Experience developing guidance algorithms for unmanned aircraft systems Strong C++ and embedded software development capability Understanding of fixed wing or rotary wing flight dynamics Experience with ArduPilot, PX4 or similar autopilot frameworks Ability to work across software, systems and hardware engineering teams The Senior Guidance & Autonomy Engineer will join a highly capable engineering team building clean sheet autonomous systems from first flight through operational deployment.
