Now Hiring: Dietary Aide East Bay Post Acute Position: Dietary Aide Employment Type: Part-Time Starting Pay: $18.00 per Hour Join Our Dietary Team! East Bay Post Acute is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and hardworking Dietary Aide to join our team on a Part-Time basis . The Dietary Aide plays an important role in supporting our dietary department and ensuring residents receive nutritious, appealing, and timely meals in a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate is a team player who takes pride in providing excellent service to our residents. Key Responsibilities Assist with meal preparation and food service according to established menus and dietary requirements Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages to residents Deliver meals to resident rooms and dining areas as needed Set up and clean dining areas before and after meals Wash dishes, utensils, trays, and kitchen equipment Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, and food service equipment Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and infection-control procedures Follow residents' specific diets and meal requirements Assist with portioning and plating meals Stock and organize food, supplies, and kitchen items Monitor food temperatures and follow food safety guidelines Report resident concerns, dietary issues, or changes in appetite to the appropriate staff Follow all facility policies and procedures Maintain a professional and respectful relationship with residents, families, and staff Perform other dietary duties as assigned Qualifications Previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience preferred Skilled nursing or healthcare dietary experience is a plus Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation practices preferred Dependable, punctual, and reliable Strong attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to communicate professionally with residents and staff Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties associated with food service Commitment to providing courteous and respectful service to residents Why Join East Bay Post Acute?
