Job Opportunity

Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified General Surgeon to join a well-supported community hospital in rural Pennsylvania. This is a full-time employed opportunity with a respected nonprofit health system, offering strong support, autonomy, and the opportunity to grow a meaningful general surgery practice. This position is ideal for a surgeon who values traditional hands-on general surgery, continuity of care, and the chance to make a direct impact in a close-knit community. The surgeon will perform a broad range of bread-and-butter general surgery cases, including laparoscopic procedures, gallbladder surgery, hernia repairs, endoscopies, colonoscopies, bowel procedures, and related general surgery cases. Additional highlights include solo practice autonomy with full hospital and administrative support, a strong regional referral base, EPIC EMR, no OB responsibilities, and no robotic surgery program. Requirements:

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited General Surgery Residency Program
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
• Ability to obtain required hospital credentials
• DEA certification required
