Ready Mix Order Taker/Scheduler

GFT Ready Mix is a rapidly growing, family-run business founded in 1999, built on a team-oriented culture and supportive atmosphere. We are seeking an experienced Ready Mix Order Taker/Scheduler who is responsible for taking orders, taking payments and scheduling to facilitate the deployment of our goods and services. Prior ready mix dispatching experience is preferred.

Schedule: M-F, 6a - 4P

Location: 100% on site

Job Duties

Some job duties include but are not limited to:

• Complete order intake and assist customers in identifying proper products needed for specific end uses
• Scheduling and organizing loads to ensure material is delivered per the customer's requested delivery time
• Coordinate with multiple drivers to properly execute load deliveries, communicate job site locations and directions, and where to unload upon arrival at the customer's job site
• Constantly review schedules and customer orders throughout the day to anticipate business trucking demands
• Immediately report any delivery problems for quick resolution or mitigation
• Complete daily reports
• Other duties as needed

Requirements

• 1+ years of ready mix dispatching experience preferred
• 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or within dispatching, required
• Prior experience using dispatch software preferred
• Computer experience, including but not limited to Microsoft office products
• Must have the ability to work independently and make decisions while providing excellent customer service to both our customers and our drivers
• Knowledge of Flagstaff, Williams and surrounding areas required
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to work weekends as needed
• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
• Command Alkon Series software experience preferred
