Registered Nurse - Operating Room

$1958.40/week -

Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Operating Room Registered Nurse for a seasonal travel assignment at a busy surgical unit. The ideal candidate will have recent OR experience and be able to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to surgical patients before, during, and after procedures.
  
  
• 
  Prepare the operating room by ensuring all equipment and supplies are sterile and functional.
  
  
• 
  Assist surgeons and other surgical team members with Procedures such as spine fusions, ALIFs, hip replacements, and joint procedures.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient vital signs, respond to emergencies, and document care accurately using Meditech EMR.
  
  
• 
  Communicate effectively with staff and providers to coordinate patient care and ensure safety standards are met.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RN license with minimum 1 year of recent hospital OR experience.
  
  
• 
  Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate experience in Spine and Joint procedures.
  
  
• 
  Prefer candidates with Meditech EMR proficiency and joint scrub experience.
  
  
• 
  Be flexible and possess strong communication and patient care skills.
