Therapist - Occupational Therapist

$2023.00/week –

Job Summary:
Provide specialized occupational therapy services to patients with cognitive and ADL physical functioning disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote recovery and improve patient independence.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients cognitive and physical abilities and develop appropriate care plans following regulatory standards.

• Administer therapeutic interventions including ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive devices.

• Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments as needed, and document outcomes in all clinical records.

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on condition management and discharge planning.

• Communicate patient status and treatment updates effectively with the healthcare team.

• Maintain accurate documentation of treatment minutes and ensure compliance with regulatory and clinical guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active OT license in the state of Oklahoma.

• Possess over 1 year of occupational therapy experience, specifically in LTC or rehab settings.

• Demonstrate proficiency with standardized assessments and evidence-based practices.

• Ability to supervise therapy assistants, aides, and students as needed.

• Exhibit excellent communication, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

• New graduates with Level II experience are considered.
