Charting: 1 yr of EPIC experience required

Must have Trauma Level 1 experience

Unit will consider 1st time Travelers based on experience

Floating: While Prisma Health prioritizes keeping staff in their home unit, agency staff are required to float to other units or campuses as needed. Floating is limited to areas where staff are qualified and have documented competencies.

Travelers must be 100 miles from every Prisma facility (regardless of where they are applying) to be eligible to travel in the system, unless they are one of the two exceptions below:

• 90-99.9 miles are accepted at a 10% bill rate reduction
• 100+ miles full bill rate
• Exception 1: Night shift travelers for below specialties must be 50+ miles ONLY from the contracted campus they re applying to. Full BR granted at 100+ miles away. 50.0-99.9 miles is 10% bill rate reduction. Under 50 miles is ineligible.
• Adult Multi-Specialty Adult Medical Tele / Adult Cardiac Tele / Progressive Care All RRT
• Exception 2: Below specialties must be 50+ miles from the relevant flagship hospital (Prisma Richland or Prisma Greenville). Full BR granted at 100+ miles away. 50.0-99.9 miles is 10% bill rate reduction. Under 50 miles is ineligible.
• Operating Room (including allied and SPT) Cath Lab (including allied) CT / MRI / IR Techs / Echo Techs MLTs, SLPs, PTs, OTs, Dietitians Adult ICU Prisma Health Tuomey (All open positions) Local radius: 60 miles For CRNAs only

Will consider nurses with 1+ years of recent experience in unit. Must send SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER with submittal. Orientation is every Monday and an annual compliance requirement for Prisma Health. Pre Assignment testing (all RNs) and modules required for all travelers to complete within 48 hours of receiving the login information (which usually comes within 24 hours of the nurse signing their contract). Travelers are eligible for reimbursement for hours spent completing modules (up to 16 hours) and time will be verified upon start of contract. EMR experience: 1-year minimum experience with EPIC EMR required

Floating: Prisma Health's goal is to keep staff in their home unit. However, it is a requirement for all assignments that agency staff, regardless of unit or facility, must float to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses per request due to census concerns. Staff will only be floating to units they are qualified for and performing tasks for which competencies have already been demonstrated and documented.

Modules: Modules are billable, up to 16 hours. Modules are completed pre-start and not included in NBO, and completed annually. Modules are recorded in transcripts by Prisma Health, time is not entered into timecards.
