Specific responsibilities include:

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables rapidly and accurately
• Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
• Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g. food allergies)
• Assist the wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins
• Serve welcome drinks and hors d'oeuvres, upon guests' arrival
• Ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards
• Double check the order before it goes to a customer
• Deliver food from the kitchen to the correct customer
• Check in with customers and take additional orders or refill water, as needed
• Remove dirty dishes and utensils
• Answer guests' questions about ingredients and menu items

This is a part time opportunity. Shifts will vary between 10:00 am and 9:00 pm, weekdays and weekends.

Skills/Requirements

• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules
• Good oral communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment
• Great organizational skills

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The hourly range for this position is $10.70 - $16.00 plus tips/gratuity. The specific hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location.
