Donor Center Phlebotomist

Job Description Assist with every step of the blood collection process at fixed site locations. Work with a team to create a welcoming environment for volunteer donors and follow all safety procedures while collecting lifesaving blood donations delivered to hospitals. Key Responsibilities Connect personally with donors, listening to their stories and explaining impact. Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming and friendly environment for donors. Maintain detailed orientation throughout the shift to ensure collected blood meets regulatory requirements and safety standards. Schedule Variable hours: 4 x 10‑hour shifts, some weekend required, two consecutive days off and 1 floating day. Schedule is provided 2–3 weeks in advance. Shifts may include early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays. Pay Starting rate $18.80 per hour. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s degree or equivalent education and work experience. Minimum of one year of customer service experience in a public setting. Current, valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Physical ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights; sit or stand for long periods; adapt to irregular hours and frequent schedule changes. Basic computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.). Prior leadership experience.
