This position is responsible for partnering with the Management team to ensure operational and financial objectives are met, as well as managing values and attitudes of the employees. They will also identify and develop strong leaders who will contribute to our company's growth. This is a full-time, salaried, exempt position.Communicates expectations and effectively evaluates the distribution operations performance and objectivesProvides a partnership with the Manager to ensure the development of each employee's needs, goals and aspirationsLeads the effort to communicate goals and ensures these goals are understood by the staff including overall company goals, daily boards and any other seasonal objectives for the departmentEnsures all safety policies and procedures are followed by the entire staffStays current and evaluates all company and store-specific reporting and metrics, applies that knowledge to drive the daily operations and affect positive change in the Distribution CenterStays current and knowledgeable on operational procedures in their home departmentAssists in daily operations as well as operates equipment as neededContributes to a clean and safe Distribution CenterStays current with all company initiatives and directives (operations, training, logistics, staff development, etc.)Manages time to successfully balance administrative responsibilities and floor timeWorks to create schedules, time edits and remains mindful of the payroll expense plan while working in collaboration with other Managers and SupervisorsChecks voicemail and email on a scheduled basis while keeping the priority on spending time on the floor with employeesIs committed to timely communication and works with employees to do the sameConducts timely and objective performance reviewsAbility to work in a non-climate-controlled environmentConsistently arrives promptly to work the assigned scheduleResponsible for maintaining discretion related to all confidential/sensitive company and customer informationPerforms other requested tasks and dutiesThe Benefits of Working HereOur benefits exemplify our commitment to ensuring employees and their families are well taken care of, safe and secure.
