Must Haves

• Safety shoes required
• 35 years of maintenance mechanic or related experience
• Experience with janitorial, light maintenance, or facility upkeep preferred
• Working knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
• Ability to safely use hand tools, maintenance equipment, and cleaning equipment
• Able to meet physical demands, including:
  • Frequent walking and standing
  • Bending and twisting
  • Moderate to heavy lifting

What You'll Bring to the Table:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance mechanics or related fields.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and basic building systems.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, maintenance equipment, and safety protocols.
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on diverse systems.
• Strong attention to safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with janitorial, light maintenance, or facility upkeep.
• Certifications or training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, welding, or fire safety.
• Knowledge of operating facility equipment such as bailers and cleaning machinery.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant certificates or training in specialized trades highly advantageous.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work onsite at our Cleveland, Ohio location from 6 AM to 2:30 PM.
• Must pass background and drug screening.
• Safety shoes are mandatory.
• Physical ability to perform frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, and lifting (moderate to heavy).
