DESCRIPTION

The Graphic Design Intern will focus largely on custom cup graphics, print production layout, and visual branding for LumiCup, with additional creative support for Lupine Creative. This hybrid role centers on developing custom artwork, placing logos, building wrap‑around graphics, and assisting with printing processes across LumiCup’s product line. The internship provides a rare opportunity to work directly with LUMI’s print facility in Burbank, where the candidate will gain practical experience preparing and applying real artwork directly onto aluminum cups. Responsibilities include: Designing and refining custom cup artwork, placement templates, wrap‑around graphics, and visual concepts for LumiCup Assisting the LumiCup Print team with direct‑to‑cup file layout and logo placement for client orders Preparing and managing print‑ready vector files for high‑volume aluminum cup production Collaborating with the print team at LUMI’s Burbank facility during live production runs Supporting Art Directors at Lupine with moodboards, visual research, and custom cup concepts Creating cohesive visual treatments across event drinkware and marketing touchpoints Assisting with Lupine Creative brand design projects as needed Organizing and maintaining design assets and production files for cross‑team collaboration

CONSIDERATIONS

The ideal candidate has a passion for Graphic Design & Product Customization, Visual Communication, and Brand Identity, with an eagerness to learn about specialized print processes and surface design. Proficiency in basic graphic design or RIP software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Flexi RIP) Strong understanding of vector placement, curvature wrapping, typography, and print setups Detail‑oriented with an eye for visual consistency and print precision on curved surfaces Experience with presentation tools like Google Slides or PowerPoint Interest in sustainability and eco‑friendly product innovation Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Hybrid work environment: 3 days in‑office each week at either Lupine Creative (Los Angeles) or LUMI’s print facility (Burbank) Knowledge of Figma, Motion Graphics, and/or 3D Mockup Tools (like Dimension or Blender) a plus but not required

COMPENSATION
