Lead Maintenance Technician Location: Selko – 1550 Research Way, Indianapolis, Indiana Vacancy Type: Replacement Hours available: Weekend Days (6am-6pm) – Week 1: Fri/Sat/Sun, Week 2: Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun; Weekend Nights (6pm-6am) – Week 1: Fri/Sat/Sun, Week 2: Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun. About the Role As a Lead Maintenance Technician, you will take ownership of day‑to‑day maintenance operations, working hands‑on with a small team of technicians. You will ensure equipment, tools, and systems operate safely, reliably, and in compliance with cGMPs and Global Quality Standards. You will lead daily work planning, scheduling, and task prioritization, audit completed work for quality, coach team members, and act as the first point of escalation for urgent or complex maintenance issues. You’ll collaborate closely with Plant, Production, Supply Chain, and Supervisory partners, continuously improving processes and reinforcing an ownership culture of accountability, safety, and development. Responsibilities Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, piping, and hydraulics. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. Plan work, coordinate schedules, and support daily maintenance operations. Audit completed work to ensure quality and compliance with cGMPs and Global Quality Standards. Coach and mentor a small team of technicians, fostering development and performance. Serve as the first escalation point for urgent or complex maintenance issues to minimize downtime. Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to improve processes and support production goals. Qualifications 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience. Experience leading or mentoring a small team. Strong technical expertise across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. Proven ability to plan work, coordinate schedules, and support daily maintenance operations. Safety‑first, quality‑driven mindset with working knowledge of cGMPs, Global Quality Standards, and safe work practices.
