Travel Banquet Captain

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Banquet Captain to lead and support banquet operations at our hospitality property in Mount Washington, NH. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and guest service skills, experience coordinating banquet events, and the flexibility to assist with other food and beverage operations as needed.

Key responsibilities include supervising and coordinating banquet staff to ensure smooth and efficient event operations, overseeing banquet setup, including tables, chairs, linens, place settings, and service stations, ensuring banquet rooms and event spaces are properly prepared according to event specifications, coordinating food and beverage service to ensure timely and professional service, communicating event details and service expectations to servers, bussers, kitchen staff, and other team members, monitoring service quality and addressing guest requests or concerns professionally, ensuring compliance with property standards for cleanliness, safety, and sanitation, assisting with breakdown, cleanup, and resetting of banquet spaces after events, and supporting supervisors and management with additional food and beverage duties as needed.

This is a flexible hospitality position. The candidate may be asked to assist in other areas of the property based on operational needs, including supervising and assisting banquet servers, bussing tables and resetting dining areas, running food and supporting food service, hosting and greeting guests, assisting with restaurant and dining room operations, and other related food and beverage duties as assigned. Candidates must be comfortable supporting different areas of the operation when needed.

Qualifications include previous experience as a Banquet Captain, Banquet Supervisor, Lead Server, or in a similar hospitality role preferred, experience coordinating banquet events and leading service teams, strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, excellent guest service and problem-solving abilities, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, dependability, professionalism, and team orientation, willingness to assist in different food and beverage areas as needed, and ability to adapt to changing event schedules and operational needs.

Assignment details include $18.00/hour plus tips, weekly pay, travel/task force opportunity, travel expenses to and from the client facility are covered, and opportunity for additional task force assignments.
