Location: Kent, WA (Onsite)
Pay: $27.00/hour + $500 Hiring Bonus* after completion of 6 months with satisfactory performance and attendance.
Schedule: 1st Shift | 8-hour shifts with overtime opportunities during peak seasons

What You'll Do

As a working leader, you'll guide daily warehouse operations while actively supporting the team on the floor.

Team Leadership & Development

• Train, coach, and mentor warehouse employees
• Help build a highly skilled, cross-trained workforce
• Provide ongoing feedback and support employee development
• Assign work and prioritize tasks to meet distribution goals
• Promote accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence

Safety & Compliance

• Foster a strong safety-first culture
• Ensure employees follow established safety procedures
• Monitor warehouse safety equipment and working conditions
• Support compliance with company, USDA, and food safety requirements

Warehouse Operations

• Coordinate receiving, storage, inventory, and product movement
• Oversee inbound shipments and verify accuracy and condition of materials
• Ensure timely replenishment and order fulfillment
• Support cycle counts, inventory accuracy, and annual inventories
• Monitor warehouse capacity and identify efficiency improvements

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve productivity and quality
• Help solve operational challenges quickly and effectively
• Collaborate with leadership on labor planning and workflow improvements
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and process improvements

What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of warehouse experience
• Previous experience leading, training, or coordinating team members
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems
• Ability to effectively communicate in English
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Preferred Qualifications

• Food manufacturing or food distribution experience
• HACCP and/or SQF knowledge
• Lean Manufacturing experience
• Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, and other material-handling equipment
