Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an OR Circulator position at an ambulatory surgery center in Vail, CO, requiring an active CO or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

• Ambulatory surgery center setting in Vail, CO
• OR Circulator role within the operating room department
• Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts per week

Requirements

• Active CO RN license or valid compact state license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience required
• CO CAPS (Criminal History Record Check) registration required prior to start — may take up to two weeks to obtain; register at colorado.gov/ccu

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include overseeing daily patient flow, triaging patient requests, delivering patient education, delegating care per Colorado statute, and administering medications and treatments
• Collaborates with providers and interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Must demonstrate competent assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills
• Utilizes Relationship-Based Care principles to advocate for patient safety, preferences, and communication
• Must be HIPAA compliant
• COVID-19 vaccination not required for this position
