Day To Day As A Mechanic

As the City's Mechanic, no two days are the same. You'll spend your time diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and repairing everything from small engines to heavy-duty equipment to keep our fleet running safely and efficiently. From oil changes and inspections to troubleshooting complex mechanical problems, your work directly supports daily operations across the City. You'll also manage maintenance records, ensure compliance with safety standards, and help keep the shop and equipment in top condition-playing a critical role in keeping Fair Oaks Ranch moving.

Are You A Good Fit For This Mechanic Job?

To excel as the City's Mechanic, you'll need a strong foundation in automotive and equipment repair, with the ability to diagnose issues and perform both preventative maintenance and complex repairs on a wide range of fleet vehicles and equipment.
