11826 S Choctaw Dr, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70815, United States Here is what you will be doing as part of the team: Driver/Warehouse Associate responsible for inventory and daily delivery of HVAC freight and materials. The role includes procuring, processing, dispatching, and transporting products to customers and vendors for a wholesale HVAC distributor. Duties and Responsibilities Daily loading and unloading of products. Assist with delivering and transporting HVAC freight and materials to customers. Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise. Verify all items received against items ordered for accuracy. Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed. Collect invoices with proper signatures and return them to Sales Center Manager. Maintain daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and report in/out times with merchandise returns. Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device. Assist with physical inventory and inventory control. Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, or shipped. Provide excellent customer service to external customers. Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customer traffic. Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to job duties. Wear appropriate PPE.
