Telemetry/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)
This position involves working on a 36-bed telemetry/surgical floor, providing care to a diverse patient population. Candidates should have experience in both telemetry and surgical care settings.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and telemetry readings to assess and respond to changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as per established protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions.
Qualifications
- Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in telemetry and surgical settings is required.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective patient interactions.
