Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer

Supporting enterprise infrastructure monitoring and data protection, the full-time Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer will manage the deployment and maintenance of monitoring platforms and backup solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and automate processes, with flexible remote or on-site work arrangements available. Key responsibilities Support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of SolarWinds and Cohesity platforms for monitoring and data protection Automate routine monitoring and backup tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash Troubleshoot infrastructure alerts and backup failures, ensuring system integrity through routine data restoration requests Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity, or a related field with at least one year of relevant experience Experience supporting and troubleshooting IT infrastructure, including servers, virtual environments, and cloud technologies Proficiency in at least one scripting language for automation and system administration Working knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and data protection concepts Experience developing or maintaining technical documentation and standard operating procedures Virtual Vocations Inc
