The Warehouse/Backup Driver increases operational efficiency, company profitability, and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving and storing materials, processing incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensuring complete and on-time orders for the company’s customers. Refill primary bins using proper procedures and minimizing open boxesReceive and process incoming stock and materialsDeliver products to customers in absence of FT driverCommunicate with other departments and branches regarding order status or inventory issues. Work in a team environment to ensure the efficient operation of the warehouseEducationHighschool diploma or GEDExperience and/or Training1 year working in a warehouse environment as a team member, working with power equipment such as forklifts, and pulling orders. A solid understanding of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processesMinimum 1 year experience driving a medium-duty commercial or delivery vehicle in all weather conditionsTakes initiative while displaying leadership qualitiesStrong verbal communication skills for interacting with team membersAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyAbility to collaborate within a multi-functional teamAbility to work safely and accuratelyStrong math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication) and reading skillsDetail oriented, organized, consistent, and tenaciousOrganized with strong time management skills2+ years in a warehouse setting, working with power equipment, an RF Scanner, a forklift, wire cutting, and pulling orders preferredLicenses/CertificatesValid US Driver’s licenseClean Driving RecordUp-to-date federal medical card preferredWe are committed to providing salary ranges for open positions.
