Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' medical histories and physical conditions, assessing strengths and limitations to inform treatment. Develop and implement customized treatment plans that align with patients' rehabilitation goals, including specific timelines and measurable outcomes. Administer therapeutic exercises aimed at enhancing strength, balance, flexibility, and coordination; monitor the effectiveness and modify approaches as needed. Utilize specialized manual therapy techniques, such as trigger point therapy and dry needling, to alleviate pain and promote healing processes. Educate patients and their families about the nature of their conditions, appropriate exercise regimens, and body mechanics to nurture independent management of their health. Continuously track patients' progress and update treatment protocols based on their development and feedback. Maintain precise and detailed documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to comply with state regulations and improve service delivery. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on a diverse range of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal issues. Patients will vary in age from adolescents to elderly adults, providing a rich environment for your expertise and compassionate care to shine. Qualifications A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Current licensing as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida. Strong foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation principles with an understanding of evidence-based practices. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, demonstrating an ability to handle diverse case loads and complexities. Experience working with patients across various age groups, emphasizing your adaptability to different rehabilitation needs. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for streamlined documentation and patient management. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
