Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Certified Public Accountant (CPA) role based in Lubbock, TX. The CPA will manage day-to-day accounting functions, including preparing and analyzing financial statements and overseeing general ledger activities. Responsibilities include tax preparation and compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring financial performance for construction and development projects. The role involves collaborating with project managers and leadership to provide financial insights, ensure accurate cost tracking, and support strategic decision-making. The CPA will also maintain adherence to relevant accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. Qualifications Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to interpret and apply accounting principles. Demonstrated experience with Financial Statements, including preparation, analysis, and reporting. Proficiency in Tax Preparation and related compliance for business entities. Active Certified Public Accounting (CPA) credential, or eligibility and intent to obtain CPA licensure. Experience with accounting software and Excel, including reconciliations and financial modeling. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; experience in construction or real estate development is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
