Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in Texas and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required). Strong understanding of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation. CPR Certification. Preferred Experience Over 2 years of clinical experience. Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems. A commitment to continuous learning and enhancing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care for overall dental health. Clinical requirements as needed by the office. Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties as required by the office/doctor with or without reasonable accommodation. Adjustments may be made to assist individuals with disabilities in fulfilling the essential responsibilities of the role. Prolonged periods of sitting and standing. Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 45 pounds occasionally. Availability to participate in virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year. To ensure a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is mandatory for all new hires in dental office roles. This standard requirement must be completed before starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided.
