Westwood Country Club is seeking a reliable and motivated full-time/part-time seasonal pool short-order cook to join our team for the summer season. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in preparing simple, high-quality food items for our members and their families. Our pool kitchen focuses primarily on preparing children's menu items and casual favorites, helping create a fun and welcoming experience for families throughout the season.

Position Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook short-order menu items, primarily from the children's pool menu
• Ensure food is prepared quickly, accurately, and in accordance with club quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and work area
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with stocking, prep work, and maintaining inventory levels
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service
• Support overall pool and food and beverage operations as needed

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Previous food service or cooking experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving kitchen environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable and punctual
• Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays during the summer season
