About the Role:

Thermo King of Knoxville is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Parts Associate to join our team in a Parts Counter role. Serve as the primary point of contact to assist customers and internal departments to acquire parts, product, units or any other materials needed.  

 
Responsibilities:

·         Assist customers at the parts counter by identifying, locating, and fulfilling
parts orders accurately and efficiently
·         Process parts transactions including sales, returns, and exchanges using parts
management software
·         Maintain accurate inventory levels and assist with stock organization and receiving
·         Place purchase orders as related to acquire materials needed by customers
·         Look up parts using catalogs, manuals, and electronic databases for Thermo King
and related equipment
·         Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, technicians and vendors
·         All other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

·         Must have 2 years of experience in parts counter sales, automotive, transportation or related field preferred
·         Strong customer service and communication skills
·         Ability to identify and look up parts using catalogs or electronic systems
·         Strong computer skills
·         Strong organizational skills 
·         Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a team-first attitude
·         Ability to lift and carry heavy parts and equipment as needed
·         Forklift Certification
·         Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
·         Will be required on occasion to work more than 8 hours on one shift
