We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Suspension Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, a passion for motorsports, and a desire to develop expertise in suspension assembly, service, testing, and tuning. Position Overview
The Suspension Technician will be responsible for assembling, servicing, rebuilding, inspecting, and testing shock absorbers and suspension components. The successful candidate will work closely with our technical and engineering teams to ensure all products meet Nitron’s high standards of quality, performance, and reliability. Key Responsibilities
Assemble, service, and rebuild shock absorbers and suspension systems according to established procedures.
Perform inspections, measurements, and quality control checks on suspension components.
Diagnose and repair suspension-related issues.
Operate specialized tools and testing equipment, including shock dynos and nitrogen charging systems.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Support customer service and technical teams with product evaluations and troubleshooting.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist with inventory management and parts organization.
Support race events, customer demonstrations, and technical activities as needed. Qualifications
Required
Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience working with automotive, motorcycle, or racing components.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to read and follow technical instructions and assembly procedures.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with service documentation.
Preferred
Prior experience servicing shock absorbers, suspension systems, or performance vehicle components.
Motorsports, racing, motorcycle, or off-road industry experience.
Understanding of suspension fundamentals, spring rates, damping, and vehicle dynamics.
Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Forklift certification or warehouse experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in a workshop and warehouse environment.
