Infant Teacher - Fulltime

Position Summary We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Infant Teacher – Fulltime. Under the supervision of the Education Director of the Center, the Toddler Teachers shall be responsible for working within the framework of Sunset Park Health Council, DOE, DOHMH, NAEYC, and Quality Stars NY standards, policies and procedures. Teachers promote early childhood education for children and families both in and out of the classroom by providing sound supervision, developmentally appropriate lessons and community outings, and ensuring the health and safety of all children. Teachers develop positive parent relations, encourage parental involvement, and the professional growth of classroom associates. They conduct regular team meetings, attend staff meetings, and seek out professional development opportunities to meet the needs of their classrooms. They must document lessons, observations, assessments, and all necessary paperwork. NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $31,200.00 - $45,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
