Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment in a specialized orthopedic and spine surgical unit, with both circulating and scrubbing responsibilities and on-call requirements.

Details

• Position is in a Center for Joint Replacement and Innovation (CJRI) OR, focused on total joints and spine cases
• Preferred schedule is 40 hours/week structured as two 8-hour shifts (6:30 AM–3:00 PM) and two 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM–7:00 PM), with flexibility for four 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM–5:00 PM)
• On-call is required specifically for spine cases: one weekday call per week (5:00 PM–7:00 AM), with start time varying based on end of the preceding shift
• One weekend on-call per month covering Friday through Sunday with 24-hour coverage

Requirements

• Active RN license — Compact (multi-state) or Connecticut (CT) license required
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• Ability to both circulate and scrub total joint and spine surgical cases
• Prior OR experience with total joints and/or spine procedures required
