Must Haves

• Demonstrated experience in developing test strategy, test plan, test cases and test data
• Demonstrated strong experience in manual and automated testing and scripting
• Experience in quality assurance and testing, including unit testing, integration testing, load testing, performance testing, etc.
• Demonstrated experience with automation testing in Window services and Web API services by testing tools, such as Postman, ThunderClient and Swagger.
• Experience in automation testing tools, such as Playwright, Quick Test pro, Load Runner and etc.
• Demonstrated experience testing for WCAB AA compliance in web applications

Description / Responsibilities / Skills

Responsibilities

• Provides advice on the testing strategy, test plans, the selection of testing tools, and the identification of resources required for testing.
• Plans and organizes testing efforts for large systems in Graphical User Interface (GUI) and non-Graphical User Interface (GUI) environments, including the execution of systems integration tests, specialized tests, and user acceptance testing (e.g., stress tests).
• Identifies, document, and track software defects using tools like ALM, JIRA, Bugzilla, and Azure DevOps.
• Integrates automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Participates in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Provides input for user manuals and release notes.

Deliverables

• Maintains detailed documentation of test results, test coverage, and quality metrics.
• Ensures testing processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Validates data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across various system components and databases, performing data migration and transformation testing as needed.

Experience & Skill Set Requirements

Technical Skills - 65%

• Demonstrated Experience with automation testing in web application and date warehouse system
• Demonstrated experience executing different types of software testing processes and testing methodologies
• Demonstrated experience writing test scripts, test cases and test scenarios, testing web applications and reporting defects;
• Demonstrated experience in investigating production issues for root causes and providing suggestion on solutions
• Demonstrated experience using HPQC and TFS to document, track and record testing progress, test plan and test cases; Demonstrated Experience with VBA and VBS
• Demonstrated experience creating complex SQL scripting for database testing;
• Demonstrated experience with the use of desktop tools such as Visio, MS Office, MS Project, and MS Outlook;
• Demonstrated experience in SQL, Databases, and XML in the context of data warehouse testing;
• Demonstrated experience in an HP NonStop (Tandem) batch, online, n-tier and web environment.
• Demonstrated experience executing testing as part of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including experience testing through all the Software Testing Life Cycle phases;
• Demonstrated experience preparing for, conducting and supporting SIT, SAT and UAT testing that adhere to Testing Strategy and Testing Methodology
