Director, Tax – Hybrid (Atlanta)
$180K–$210K + Bonus
Leading PE-backed financial services platform hiring a Tax Director to lead UHNW client relationships and complex tax strategy work.
What You’ll Do
- Lead tax strategy + planning for high-net-worth clients
- Review/sign individual, trust, partnership & corporate returns
- Own client relationships and deliverables
- Partner across tax, accounting, and advisory teams
- Mentor staff and support growth
Must Haves
- 10+ years public accounting or family office / wealth / financial services tax experience
- Strong HNW / family office tax background (required)
- Experience reviewing/signing complex, multi-entity/multistate returns
- CPA required
- Client-facing; strong communication skills
- Track record of owning outcomes and driving results
- Experience in a fast-paced or PE-backed environment
Nice to Have
- CFP or MST
- Experience with complex estates, trusts, and planning strategies
