Key Responsibilities

The Field Services Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day tactical coordination of field service activities across both project/installation rollouts and break-fix service, including technician scheduling, dispatch, rescheduling, and execution tracking. This role ensures work is completed in accordance with contracted SLAs, project milestones, customer expectations, and operational standards. The Field Services Coordinator acts as a key point of communication between service providers, technicians, internal teams, and customers, whether coordinating a new site rollout or resolving an issue when break-fix execution does not go as planned. To support customer needs and business operations, this position follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST.

Skills and Experience We Desire

• Experience in field services, dispatch, service coordination, project/installation coordination, or operational support roles, preferably in environments with high service volume, strict SLAs, and multi-site rollout activity.
• Strong communication skills are required, as the role involves frequent interaction with providers, technicians, and customers, particularly when resolving issues or coordinating rollout schedules.
• The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple active work orders and installation schedules simultaneously.
• The role requires the ability to remain calm under pressure, make quick decisions, and balance customer satisfaction with operational constraints.
• Experience working with service management systems, dispatch tools, ticketing platforms, and operational dashboards is preferred.
• Familiarity with SLAs, project milestone tracking, field operations metrics, and provider performance management is a strong plus.

Success Factors

Success in this role is defined by high on-time completion rates for both installations and break-fix service, strong SLA and milestone performance, accurate and up-to-date dashboards, effective issue resolution, and clear communication with both providers and customers. The Field Services Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining service reliability and customer trust through disciplined, responsive execution across both project and break-fix work.
