About Us: Serenity Assisted Living is dedicated to providing compassionate and quality care to our residents. Our team is committed to creating a supportive and nurturing environment that enhances the quality of life for each individual. We are currently seeking dedicated Night Shift Resident Care Aides to join our team.
Position Overview: As a Night Shift Resident Care Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents during nighttime hours. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor residents' health, and provide emotional support to create a welcoming atmosphere. Shifts are 11pm-7am, with the occasional 7pm-7am.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care, ambulation, and more.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Document care provided in accordance with facility policies.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a care aide or similar role preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
- You must be able to pass background check with WV Cares.
- Pass a drug screening.
