Provide fabrication, machining and machine life-cycle support for brush and broom equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities to include

• Provide machining support for the fabrication of various components in size from common materials as well as materials. Machine parts and applications for a wide variety of materials and sizes using blueprint drawings, CAD models, and pre-written programs and manual lathes, mills, and other equipment.
• Work with maintenance team to troubleshoot machine improvements.
• Work from complex drawings, prototype sketches, electronic files and/or verbal instructions to facilitate the manufacturing of parts and assemblies by setting up, and operating manual lathes and Mill, variety of general machine shop equipment.
• Responsible for production of high precision parts and performing complex setups required to produce the parts; ability to help troubleshoot issues with equipment and product including rework.
• Recognizing tool wear and replacing or changing worn tools.
• Strive to implement continuous improvements initiatives.
• May perform other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

• B.A. or B.S. from accredited college or university and 2 years related experience and /or training in translatable field; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience using various machine such as hand and power tools such as saws, sanders, arbor presses, lathes, mills, grinders, and uses necessary precision measuring instruments, fixtures, and gages.
• Must be highly organized with attention to detail, able to work independently, and as a team player
• Must be able to accurately calculate figures, read blueprints, measurements.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
