This role involves preparing inks, mounting plates, monitoring print quality, performing machine cleanups, and maintaining a safe and efficient production environment.

Work Environment
This role operates primarily in a manufacturing environment with potential safety and health hazards typical of an industrial setting. You will regularly work around moving mechanical equipment and may need to get on and off machinery and use stairs. The environment may include non-toxic or nuisance chemical smells, airborne dust, high noise levels, and hot or humid conditions. Hearing protection, safety shoes, eye protection, and other personal protective equipment are required in manufacturing areas. The position also involves routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines for documentation and communication. Work is performed on a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 2-2-3 rotation, with one week at 36 hours and the next at 48 hours, including every other weekend. Initial training takes place on day shift for at least one month to ensure thorough onboarding and skill development.

- Positions with this company will be filled quickly!
- Experience as a flexographic press operator responsible for running multi-color print presses.
- Experience with solvent-based ink systems is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Allied Gear Flexo-Master 16\" narrow web presses with up to 8-color flexo printing.
- Experience with Aqua Flex 2558 LX and CMR 650 mid-web presses with up to 25\" web widths.
- Exposure to Millennium series custom presses with 25-41\" web widths, 3-color flexo, inline die cutting, and slitting.
- Experience with UTECO OPAL 1000 presses with up to 39\" web widths, 8-color flexo CI press, center winder or surface winder, die cutting, and slitting.
- Familiarity with plate mounting processes, color matching, and label printing software.
- Comfort working around moving equipment, climbing on and off machinery, and using stairs as needed.
- Ability to obtain or maintain any required certifications for operating plant machinery, as applicable.
- Experience working in environments with high noise levels, airborne dust, and hot or humid conditions.
